As part of your judicial sanction, you have been referred to participate in an alcohol research program offered by the LMU HeadsUP! Research Lab.

This program requires you to attend a 60 minute group-based alcohol education class, and complete assigned readings and tests OR alcohol surveys following the group session. Failure to complete ALL aspects of the program will result in being either fined or assigned an additional judiciary sanction by the Judicial Affairs Office.

Please be assured that the HeadsUP! Research Lab is completely separate from the Judicial Affairs Office. No specific information about you will ever be communicated to the Judicial Affairs Office other than your completion of the program. Your test scores or survey responses will be kept completely confidential. This program is intended to foster mindfulness of one’s behavior and aid in the development of a healthier and safer campus community. All correspondence will be conducted by a Heads UP! staff member. Please know that anything you discuss with this person, as well as all your responses on the surveys, are also completely confidential and will not be shared with anyone.
